Fluorescent T8 Marine Blue 20.000K – moonlight effect!
The Marine Blue 420nm actinic lamp reproduces the effect of moonlight reflected from the ocean surface and provides the necessary fluorescent coral lighting. Unlike many competing products, Marine Blue Lamp reaches a peak at 420 nm, the optimal spectrum point for marine fluorescence.
Marine Blue T8 – The Arcadia Marine Blue Actinic range has been created to provide the specific spectrum (400 – 480 nm) necessary to achieve blue chlorophyll absorption, which supports the development of zooxanthellae symbiosis. This concentration of light energy in actin range reaching a peak at 420 nm and 450 nm is necessary for the survival and good condition of fish, corals and invertebrates in marine aquariums. In combination with Arcadia Marine White, it allows successful breeding of most species of coral in the aquarium. Marine Blu can also be used in conjunction with any other Arcadia T8 LED or T8 fluorescent lamp to achieve an amazing variety of light configurations. Another important element of the Actinic Arcadia Marine Blue lamp is the presence of UV in the spectrum, which creates a very pleasant fluorescent effect on corals, invertebrates and exotic marine fish. With its near UV output, lamp requires changing every 12 months. At night, without any other lamps, the lamp provides moonlight effect with vivid colors of corals and invertebrates thanks to the fluorescent effect.
- Moonlight effect ideal for night-time viewing of the reef but it can also be used in other types of aquariums as a night (moon) lamp.
- Supports marine photosynthesis.
- Spectral peak at 420nm to fluoresce corals – true actinic lamp.
- Near UV output.
